Plain English: InstallerBio is a directory that helps you find and connect with installers. We list verified professionals, but you are responsible for evaluating, selecting, and hiring any installer. InstallerBio LLC is not liable for the work performed or any outcomes that result from that relationship.

1. Who We Are

InstallerBio is operated by InstallerBio, LLC, a limited liability company. We provide an online directory and platform that connects homeowners with independent, third-party door and window installation professionals ("Installers") across the United States. By accessing or using InstallerBio (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Nature of Our Platform

InstallerBio is a directory and lead-connection platform only. We are not a contractor, installation company, staffing agency, or employment service. We do not perform any installation work, and we are not a party to any contract or agreement between a homeowner and an installer. The relationship between you and any installer you find on InstallerBio is solely between you and that installer.

3. Installer Verification & Listings

InstallerBio makes a reasonable effort to verify that listed installers hold a valid contractor's license and proof of general liability insurance at the time of their application. However, we do not guarantee that any installer's license, insurance, or credentials remain current or valid after approval. A "Verified" badge indicates that the installer passed our initial review process — it is not a guarantee of quality, workmanship, or any other outcome. You are strongly encouraged to independently verify an installer's license and insurance with the appropriate state licensing board before hiring.

4. Your Responsibility as a User

By using InstallerBio, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for evaluating, selecting, and hiring any installer you choose to work with. You are responsible for negotiating the scope of work, pricing, timeline, and any written contract with your chosen installer. Any payments, disputes, claims, or legal matters arising from your engagement with an installer are strictly between you and that installer.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, InstallerBio LLC expressly disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, injury, cost, or expense arising from the acts or omissions of any installer; the quality or outcome of any installation work; any property damage, personal injury, or financial loss during or after a project; any dispute between a homeowner and an installer; or your reliance on any information, review, or badge displayed on the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall InstallerBio LLC's total liability exceed $100.00.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InstallerBio LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with any installer.

7. Privacy & Data

InstallerBio collects only the information necessary to operate the Platform — including name, email, and location — to match you with relevant installers and enable communication features. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your contact details with any installer unless you explicitly choose to contact them.

8. Changes to These Terms

InstallerBio LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
